A giveaway and some inspiration

I can't believe I found this place practically in my own backyard. It's a vintage shop in an inconspicuous place just downtown that I fortunately happened upon. Look at some of the things I am now the proud owner of:

Hello pretties!

This place is going to be the financial death of me, I'm sure, but how can one resist all of this goodness?

In celebration of this fun find, I'm going to do a RAK for anyone who posts a comment. I can't keep all of that vintage trim to myself so I'm going to share it with a lucky someone! Just share a story about a fun find of yours or just say, "hi!"

I'll post the random winner on Friday so be sure to check back!

On another note, here are some fun photos I took on one of my infamous day trips yesterday with Ginger to Berkeley.

She just HAD to get some Sassafras Lass papers at Scrapbook Territory and since I'm her "wingman" it was my duty to accompany her. :)

We did some damage at the scrappy store and then managed to check out a fantastic craft/art store that had the most amazing things on display.

This place definitely put a smile on my face.

I'll leave you with a random shot of Ginger. You just have to love Berkeley.

omgosh! tht is altered book amazingness!

great finds- how lucky you are!

i recently found a little antique shop in my own back yard (this tiny little shack sized building) but unfortunately it's only open on the weekends which means i would HAVE to bring my kids with me. i might just take the risk. i'm sure it will be worth it- shabby chic... a little piece of heaven sits in the front window of the store. so for now i just drive by and drewl.

I found an electric typewriter this weekend for a dollar at a garage sale. I thought I was stealing something it was such a fabulous find.
I love the trim at the bottom of the pic with the yellow...that is SO gorgeous.
p.s. who wouldn't want some of that Obama Bake Sale? How cute was that. Good to see our young citizens taking part in the process, God love 'em'
:)
Thanks for the opportunity.
