Sorry it's been a while since my last update. I've been too busy scrapping!
Last Monday was the start of my first online scrap class over at SiStv taught by the amazing Stacey Fike. It's called "10 from 52" which is based around using playing cards as the basis for scrap pages or mini-books.
We've been creating a 'daily' each day which is just a simple and brief diary of a day in the life of me. We also have other daily challenges such as using paint or using a specific prompt to add to our daily journals. One of my favorites so far was to create a daily from a favorite recipe, food or drink. Of course, this was a no-brainer for me:
So here are my other dailies up through Thursday. Yeah, I'm still a bit behind!

I'm trying to trudge through the onset of my winter blues but it's definitely affected me this week. I only went to the gym twice (!) I've been sneaking chocolate out of the Halloween candy stash and just have been feeling a bit lazy overall.
I'd have to say the highlight of the week was taking advantage of the opening of our new town's movie theater on Wednesday night. All movies were free with $1 popcorn and sodas. Bruce stayed home with Darren so Ginger and I saw "What Happens in Vegas" with Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz. Obviously, all of the movies showing at the theater were movies that were already out on video, but that movie was HILARIOUS! At the end of the picture Ginger and I were in tears. We obviously enjoyed ourselves so much that an older gentleman sitting in the row in front of us turned around at the end of the movie and said, "You girls definitely got your money's worth tonight!" LOL!!!
I am definitely going to have to invest in buying that movie because I can see myself watching it over and over again. It will be a movie to watch while scrapping, that's for sure!
On that subject, what movies do you watch when you scrap? My favorites:
1. The Holiday (Jude Law & Cameron Diaz - hmm...do I see a pattern here?)
2. The Devil Wears Prada
3. Notting Hill
I promise I'll post again more regularly this coming week!
