Happy Duran Duran Appreciation Day!

Yes, it's that time of year again! In honor of this special day for fellow Duranies such as myself I made this digital page last night:

I also was motivated to create this page in order to participate in the current challenge over at the These Are A Few of My Favorite Things challenge blog.

I've been on a digital scrapbook roll these past few days. I made these as well:

So in the spirit of Duran Duran Appreciation Day, please share your favorite Duran Duran memory. Here's mine:

Simon Le Bon picked me out of the audience to introduce him at the end of their show back in July of 2005. Yeah, every Duranie's dream, right?!?

Awesome photo with Duran Duran... how FUN! I'm all about 80's music!

LOVE the FAV band LO & I really LOVE your 13.1 LO! Awesome girl! I've completed 2 half marathons! It's a lot of training, but worth every second of it on the day of the race!

Thanks for joining us at Fav Things! :-)

LOVE your pages! Thanks for visiting my blog- here's the answer to your question about sewing through layers of paper: hi Diane- I just took a deep breath and hoped to not break a needle while sewing through the layers. Perhaps try practicing with just a few pages to test out your machine? I have a super sharp needle too, and I think that helps. Hope you take the chance and do it- it's way fun!
